Extended Hours

Hello Indian Wells and surrounding areas,

The team at Deli Chick is excited to announce that we will be extending our hours of operation for this upcoming season. We have decided to make this change to better serve you – our wonderful community here in Indian Wells, Palm Desert, and surrounding areas. Our extended hours are designed not only to accommodate our early risers, but to also accommodate those who may skipped lunch or those who simply want someone else to handle dinner.

In addition to our new extended hours, we also have new breakfast items. Whether you’re looking to quickly pick something up while on your way to work (or to the golf course) or if you want to sit down and enjoy your morning here with us, we have something for you. You can even catch a glimpse of the beautiful mountains that surround Indian Wells and Palm Desert. Our patio does fill up rather quickly, especially during the good half of the year (you know what we mean).

As always, we strive to provide our guests with delicious food, an exceptional customer service experience, and a welcoming atmosphere here in Indian Wells. We hope our new hours and our new items will make your experience with us more enjoyable.

Dear Coachella Valley,

The team at Deli Chick in Indian Wells has been serving delicious sandwiches for a long time now. You love them, we love them, but something has been missing. Recently, it was decided that we needed to make a change that would further elevate the customer experience. We all agreed on one thing: coffee. And we’re not talking about a classic cup of coffee (though you can’t go wrong with a good ol’ cup of Joe). We’re talking lattes, espressos, iced lattes, and more. So, we are THRILLED to announce the addition of espresso drinks to our menu at Deli Chick.

Our menu features a range of classic espresso-based drinks, including the rich and velvety cappuccino, the bold and intense espresso, and the sweet and creamy latte.  Need some flavor? We offer caramel, hazelnut, vanilla (sugar free option available), and even lavender. Can’t decide on the flavor? Try more than one. We recommend an Iced Lavender Vanilla latte.

So next time you’re in the mood for a pick-me-up, stop by Deli Chick in Indian Wells and treat yourself to one of our delicious lattes (or a classic cup of Joe). We hear the the hazelnut latte pairs well with the Californian (iykyk). We can’t wait to see you!

Yep, you’ll hear us ask that. We call that “the Deli way.” But, eventually ,we’ll stop asking. In fact, eventually, we’ll know your name and what your “go-to” sandwich is at our Deli. That’s our goal here at It’s A Deli. We value you as our customer and we want you to keep coming back.

My name is Andrea and I run It’s a Deli alongside my father, Rolando. For as long as I can remember, it was my father’s dream to run his own restaurant. His journey in the hospitality industry started long before I was born. Soon after migrating here from Guatemala, he began his career in the industry as a busboy in the city of Miami, Florida. Years later, he came over to the Coachella Valley where he acquired experience working at various country clubs in the Palm Desert and surrounding areas. My father found passion in serving his clients. He took pride in delivering an exquisite dining experience every single time.

Years later, specifically in early 2020, he finally decided to make the move towards restaurant-ownership and he asked me, the youngest of my siblings, to join him on this venture. I agreed. Little did we know what was to come in the following weeks.

Yes, you guessed right. COVID hit us and we were forced to close our doors. This happened just a couple of weeks after we took ownership. I think the previous owner was still in the process of training my dad and I. Like every other business owner, and like most Americans, we were scared, to say the least. Was the business going to survive? Well, it is January of 2022 and here I am, typing our first blog. Safe to say, we did survive. We could not have done without your patronage. Whether you’re a long-time loyal client or a “never have been” one, we thank you for your support and your business. We look forward to continuing to serve you delicious food and an exceptional experience at It’s A Deli. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
